Our core areas of expertise include aerodynamics and heat transfer, structural engineering and composite materials, yacht engineering and design, and general sports engineering and vehicular performance optimization.

Some samples of our diverse experience include windtunnel testing the US Speed skiing team to optimize equipment and body position, world record speedsailing craft design, developing novel laser based instrumentation for wind tunnel measurements, and Design and Engineering services for the South African 2007 America's Cup Challenger, Team Shosholoza.

Alex Friess Ph.D., the company's principal, is a member of SNAME (Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), ABYC (American Boating and Yacht Council), AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics), and holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering and a B.Sc. in Physics. He has published extensively in technical journals.
