Having taken prime land, facing the lagoon of the industrial island of Thulusdhu, a boat yard was built, and though Thulusdhu was 20 miles north of Male’ the capital. It was felt that the development of a yard would be more suitable near a protected lagoon. Therefore the Island of Thulusdhu was chosen where larger boats could be put to the deep lagoon and tested before going out to the open sea for the sea trials. Thus ensuring our clients the benefit of full satisfaction.
