Welcome to Tracyobrien.com!
Since the early 1980's We have been developing a range of products and services to the Sport Aviation and Boating Communities. Each of these businesses presented here were founded to provide affordable, specialized products in "Niche" markets, giving our customers the benefit of both our design expertise and our innovative manufacturing capabilities.
What's New:
This is our seventh Winter in Yuma, Arizona, and the start of our third full year in our home here in the Foothills. Because of a lack of workshop facilities here in Yuma, we opted to sell the inventory and tooling of both Tracy O'Brien Aircraft Specialties and Aircraft Lighting and Components to our friends Steve & Jilene Fergesi.
Steve and Jilene own Experimental Aircraft Metal Fabrication, located on the Curtis Airport in Curtis, Washington. Steve has welded my axles and other landing gear
components for over 20 years and is the major supplier of motor mounts for Van's Aircraft. Currently Steve is lacking the manpower to set up a production line for our products, so we will continue to serve our current customers by having replacement brake pads and Viton seals available for our C-90 Hydraulic Disc Brakes. We are now out of replacement brake pads. I'll be working with Steve Fergesi to get the production of brake pads and complete sets of C-90 hydraulic disc brakes up and running as quickly as possible.
HUGE NOTE:
We recently took delivery of two sets of Heat treated chromoly replacement gear legs for Legacy Sonex taildragger aircraft. We also received two sets of Heat treated chromoly replacement gear legs for Legacy Sonex Tri gear aircraft. One set is configured for C-90 disc brakes, and the second set is configured for Matco
5" wheels with Matco internal disc brakes.

Tracy O'Brien Marine Design:
We have available our complete portfolio of Plans and Instructions for our boat designs and will be greatly expanding the descriptions of our current boat designs: This will include the stories behind each design, and the history of many of the prototypes. We will also describe some of the custom designs we have drawn for builders throughout the US and a number of foreign countries.
